This is for Phee (known to deviantART as ~Morosophy), in honor of her birthday. Which is today (well, the day I'm putting this drawing up, anyway). I was attempting to draw her, and I failed as far as actually making it look like her goes (although I had no reference, so perhaps this is slightly forgivable). I drew her in gothic garb (inasmuch as I can draw gothic garb) and gave her some papers and a book. Literature and the beginnings of epic novels/poetry, no doubt. And she ponders something in this picture, too. No clue as to what, but she is undeniably pondering. Or scheming. Or something of that nature.

...see, Phee, that's what you do to me. You make me get all poetic and descriptive and stuff. I like you. I consider you a good friend. Which is odd, because I only know you through dA, but that said, I've known you longer than I've known most people, and I'm very pleased that you are at all a part of my life. Happy birthday.

Oh, I love this; it's wonderful! It's spectacularly gothic, in the most tasteful way possible: it's gorgeous. ("Literature and the beginnings of epic novels/poetry, no doubt" - that made me smile.

You know, I consider you a good friend too, even though we've never met outside of dA - and, in fact, I've probably known you longer than I've known a lot of the people in my life right now. I'm ever so glad, m'love, that we came across each other, and I too am thrilled that you remain a part of my life.

Hmm, pretty neat coincidence, then, that I made the outfit something that you somewhat slightly have.

Oh, I'm very glad we met, too. If I was to look over my life and see how much you've inspired in me (writing, music, interests, just life in general), I would likely find that much of it is somehow because of you. That's how my friends affect me. (Also, you may find it entertaining that, between my family and friends and I, we probably have at least five Howard Hughes-related "memes", all of which you are quite responsible for.
